Heros will get Eclair

HTC confirmed today that they do have Android 2.0 on had and they are working on integrating Sense UI into it.  So, it sounds like it’s in works and let’s hope it happens sooner than later.  They state that while they can create the ROM, it’s up to their partners (Sprint here in the US) to get it onto the phones themselves.  Earlier I was reading a post on another site complaining about how Sprint might not be able to do OTA updates to their phones.  I’ve also read that they can, but I cannot confirm it one way or another.  So, those Sprint Hero users might have to plug in their phone to their PC for the update later, just like an iPhone.  Not a bid deal at all, and I’m sure those reading this site will have no problems doing that.
