Androidandme is reporting that the ADC2 judging app has been updated and several developers are reporting they received notices that their app was in the top 20 of their respective categories. So, all you lucky Android owners, new and old, update your ADC2 app and help build a better market by stimulating the developer’s economy. Details of the contest below

For each of the 10 categories:
- 1st prize: $100,000
- 2nd prize: $50,000
- 3rd prize: $25,000
Overall (across all categories)
- 1st prize: $150,000 (meaning the overall winner will receive $250,000)
- 2nd prize: $50,000 (meaning the 2nd prize winner will receive up to $150,000)
- 3rd prize: $25,000 (meaning the 3rd prize winner will receive up to $125,000)

For the final round, both users and a Google-selected panel of industry judges will provide votes to determine the final winners. Prizes will be distributed to the top 3 entrants in each of the 10 categories, and the top 3 overall entrants will receive additional prizes. They will keep voting open until they have received sufficient votes for all of the applications. So, until you’ve voted no body gets any moneys.
