		<description>one thing tho, android 2.0 dropped into AOSP but due to some driver issues with HTC phones, 2.0 is not readily available for g1 and such. But g1 will do run 2.0 because we&#039;ve seen videos of it although sluggish but that can be fixed if devs have their hands on new drivers.

second to answer the question posted... i think we should all understand that android is still in development. I would rather run a stock version of it than the droid with custom UIs because i know developers will prolly take another month or so after the AOSP release or so to release an update for their own custom UI. 

as we&#039;ve seen, some phones are left running 1.5 because developers are still trying to catch up with their custom UIs.</description>
