Android Developer Challenge 2 has officially come to an end, no more votes, sorry folks. The Android Developer Blog has announced the close and states the winners will be revealed on Monday, November 30th. Apparently, “tens of thousands” of users voted in ADC 2 and that was sufficient numbers to create winners and not losers in the competition. Of course, the winners get some extra cash, but those who didn’t win still have a nice app for release onto the Android Market. I think everyone here is the winner. Thanks to tens of thousands of Android users around the world who participated in the review of ADC 2 finalist applications, we have now collected sufficient scores to complete 2nd round public judging.
We are reviewing the final results and will announce the top winners this coming Monday, November 30. Thanks to all who’ve participated in ADC 2 and good luck to all the finalists.
There you have it. Check back here on the 30th to see the results and get ready to download some amazing new apps. As a reminder the last ADC resulted in such apps as PicSay and Locale.
