Motorola DROID $120 at Dell!

Well, this is a welcome surprise. As part of the inevitable pre-empting of Black Friday that seems to be the fashion this year, Dell is offering the DROID for $119.99 right now. The price comes at the expense of the standard 2-year contract, but the price cut doesn’t involve any mail-in rebates, so $119.99 is what you pay, right now. But the news gets better than that; the $120 price tag also applies to family plans, allowing you to save $160 on two phones, $240 on three, and so on.

We’re not sure how long this deal will last, and you can’t find it by searching Dell’s site. If only some kind Android blog would link you to it…… Well, how about that.

In case you miss it, Amazon has a slightly less eye-popping deal at $150 per handset. I guess today’s lesson is: don’t pay full price for a DROID!

Nice find. That certainly sweetens the deal for many people on the fence about getting a DROID. Especially if you were planning on doing a family plan, with multiple DROIDS.

I checked out Amazon. The $150 price is only with a new account. To upgrade with an existing account is $200 as it would be at a Verizon store, but no waiting for the rebate.
