The HTC Tide kind of reminds me of a none smart phone of yesteryear. Not that it’s a bad thing, just what it reminds me of. It’s definitely going to be on the lower end of Android phones from HTC next year. It’s got a 2.6″ QVGA screen similar to the Salsa, but this one looks to be in portrait mode. Below that it has a full physical number pad for those who want to feel the numbers being dialed but aren’t into a full on qwerty keyboard.
Other than those features it seems a little plain for a new phone:
- GSM 3G Speeds, 7.2mbps down 2mbps up.
- GPS/AGPS
- Accerometer
- 3.5mm headphone jack
- 802.11b/g
- Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR
- microSD slot
- 3.2MP Camera with auto focus
Look for the Tide to come in April of 2010.
