The Acer Liquid, the Snapdragon powered Android lovin’ cell phone, has passed through the FCC now with both AT&T 3G frequencies of 850Mhz and 1900Mhz. This doesn’t mean it’s necessarily coming to AT&T, but that’s a very good indication it might be heading their way. The Acer Liquid A1 looks to be a very nice phone, and it it definitely near the top end of the Android phone spectrum. However, it’s snapdragon processor is under-clocked, probably to save some juice, to 768Mhz. It currently comes with Android 1.6, with rumors it’ll go to 2.0 in early 2010. Let’s see if it gets 2.0 before a possible AT&T launch? I can already see AT&T’s tag lines. Droid Does? Liquid Loves! Anyone?
