The crew over at leakdroid have found a few more shots of the Motorola XT701, which we think is code named the Sholes Tablet in an earlier leaked Motorola road map. It’s basically a DROID without the physical qwerty keyboard, which could be draw for many people. Some people just don’t want to carry around the extra bulk required for a physical keyboard and if that’s you, but you like the power of the DROID, this one might be for you.
The specs are, of course, very DROID like. First is the 3.7 touch screen, which appears to be high resolution. It should come with Android 2.0.1, an FM radio, and in a little bit of change from the first leaks, a 5MP camera which can record in HD. Originally, it was supposed to have an 8MP camera, and word is, it still might. These are all great specs, but that’s about all we know right now. No details yet on if/when this might be coming to the US. UPDATE – Looks like BGR was able find even more details, thanks to mobile review forums.
