Today is January 5th 2010. The future is finally here and it brings with it the Nexus One phone, built by HTC, sold by Google and supported by T-Mobile.As the news comes in, we’ll be sharing it via this post. I’ll try and update with the new information as fast as I can. The first big announcement of the day is the short life of the Nexus One support page that tmonews posted on earlier. Also, T-Mobile has officially announced it’s entire 3G network is now supporting 7.2mbps speeds, which seems like a convenient time considering the Nexus One also supports those same 7.2mbps speeds on T-Mobile’s 3G network.
UPDATE: The press conference has started.
Google talks about the evolution of Android. Talking about the initial phone release (G1) and the myTouch 3G, then a a beefed up hardware sheet with the DROID. Now Android supports 20 devices, 59 carriers, 48 countries and 19 languages.
Google is now talking about the next evolution…
