T-Mobile to Reduce Android Prices

T-MobileIn response to Verizon Wireless’ unlimited plan price reduction, T-Mobile has decided to reduce the price of a number of their phones including three Android phones, the G1, CLIQ, and Behold II.  The price reductions aren’t huge, but they are a reduction and the more the better.  Actual price reductions are rumored to be between $30 and $50.  They include retail prices as well as 2-Year contract prices.

Tmonews claims the new Android prices are as follows:

Motorola Cliq $149.99 2 year contract. No MIR
Samsung Behold 2 $149.99 2 year contract, No MIR
T-Mobile G1 $99.99 2 year contract, No MIR
Fender Limited Edition Mytouch $179.99 2 year contract, no MIR. $449.99 full invoice price

While boygeniusreport is a little more vague, sticking with the $30 to $50 change. SRP = Retail and NET = 2-Year Contract

  • Samsung Behold II — reduced SRP and NET pricing
  • Motorola CLIQ — reduced NET pricing
  • T-Mobile G1 — reduced SRP and NET pricing
