In a reader vote on Mashable.com, users voted in favor of the Nexus One over the iPhone by a 2-1 margin. I think this is a sign that Android is starting to grow up and if Apple hasn’t taken notice yet, they will soon. A good competition always stirs up the innovation stew and the out of the box thinking. This can only mean good things for consumers, those for Android and those for Apple alike.
The poll consisted of over 10,000 votes and a full 66% (6743) voted for the Nexus One while only 28% of the votes (2818) were in favor of the iPhone. The remaining votes felt it was a nice tie, they didn’t want to take sides and wish everyone could just get along.
