Well this is certainly nice news. Apparently, the Motorola MOTOROI, which we reported on just a couple days ago, yeah the one the Koreans are getting, will make its way to the rest of the world and should be in the US this March. This is very nice indeed, because the hardware specs on the MOTOROI are very nice, specifically for the photographer in us all considering the 8MP Xenon flash camera on board. And that is just the start.
The MOTOROI also has a nice 480X854 3.7″ screen to view those big pictures you just took, along with the 720P HD video you are making and all this running on an Android 2.0 OS. Oh, and if that’s not a big enough screen, simply attach an HDMI cable to the phone and view on your HDTV. You can cradle this phone in it’s special dock while doing so of course.
Not only does the camera have a high MP count, but it comes with many features often found exclusively in concumer cameras and not cell phones such as:
Smart image capture: Includes easy panorama, face detection, multi-shot (6 shots in a row), face filter, red eye reduction, camera shake prevention and many more elements designed to improve the quality and variety of your photos.
One feature that will probably not make the jump across the ocean is the T-DMB for digital TV. This will most likely not show up in the US showrooms. To read more about the MOTOROI follow the link below to our original posting on the subject where I’ve included Motorola’s press release.
