If you’ve been holding out purchasing your Android smart phone until the T-Mobile myTouch 3G Fender Edition was available, your wait is now over.  Head on over to T-Mobile and pick one up for $179.99 on contract or $449.99 straight up.  In case you forgot why you were waiting for this phone, here is a little reminder; It is a myTouch 3G with a 16GB memory card pre-loaded with music from several artists, including Eric Clapton, Wyclef Jean, Brad Paisley and Avril Lavigne.  In addition to that, you get a 3.5mm headphone jack and a sleek Fender style sunburst design. 

All the other specs are identical to the myTouch 3G.  This phone has a 528Mhz Qualcomm processor, 192MB of RAM, 512MB of on board space.  It also comes with a 3.2MP camera and the standard lineup of Android features; GPS, WiFi, Compass, etc.  Of course, that 3.5mm headphone jack and larger 16GB memory card with music will come at a premium of around $30.

    Well compared to newer, better equipped Android handsets, that might be what the MyTouch is useful for these days. ;-)
