myTouch 3G Photos Emerge with 3.5mm Jack

Looks like the rumors about an updated myTouch 3G release coming soon are turning into a reality.  The biggest difference seems to only be the inclusion of a 3.5mm headphone jack on the phone, in the same location as the myTouch 3G Fender Edition.  Otherwise, the word right now is that it will be identical to the current myTouch 3G.  I don’t know about you, but if I recently purchases a myTouch 3G and learn that if I’d waiting a couple months I could have had one with a built in 3.5mm headphone jack, I’d be a little sad.  For photos of the new phone These photos are from tmonews.com.  One other slim possibility is that this phone will have increased RAM from 192MB to 288MB, but I have read that rumor going both ways, so for now don’t count on it.

UPDATE: It appears this phone may be called the myTouch LE and come with 256MB of RAM…better than the original myTouch 3G’s 192MB, but not quite the 288MB we’d hope for.  myTouch LE
