MOTOROI Spotted by FCC with T-Mobile 3G
As we first reported not long ago, the Motorola MOTOROI, first introduced to the Korean market will be coming to the US sporting T-Mobile’s 3G network frequencies. This is a little more evidence that sure enough, we will get to play with that nice looking Droid as well. In a recent FCC filing, Motorola passed a phone through the gauntlet of tests and while the FCC tends to be sneaking, along with the manufacturers on exactly what the phone is, they left a few details uncovered.
From the FCC pages, you can see above the code name Sholes, and the MOTOROI just happened to be code named Sholes tablet. What’s even better is that this phone has a quick little 3G chip inside it allowing it to peak it’s data rate at 10.2Mbps down and 5.6Mbps up. Of course, the phone comes with the standard smart phone array of features, including WiFi, GPS, Compass and accelerometer. Still no idea if it will come sporting that nice T-DMB or the FM Radio. Maybe we’ll be lucky and at least get the latter.
