Poll: Is Your Nexus One 3G Fixed?

This is a simple follow up poll to see how many people’s Nexus One 3G is fixed.  So, once again, if you had 3G issues prior to the update, after receiving the update, did it fix the issues? 

Haven’t gotten the update yet?  Here is the method for manually updating your Nexus One, if you are impatient:

How to Manually Update Nexus One & Get Multi-touch Update Now

  • Download the update from the official Google source.
  • Rename the file to update.zip.
  • Copy the update.zip file onto your microSD card by mounting your microSD card.  After copying the file, be sure to unmount your phone via the instructions.
  • With your Nexus One off, hold down the trackball and press the power button.
  • You’ll be booted into a white screen with three Androids on skateboards.  Select “Bootloader.”
  • On the next screen, select “Recovery.”
  • Your Nexus One will reboot, giving you a picture of the Android robot and an exclamation point inside a triangle.
  • Press the power button and volume up button at the same time.
  • Using the trackball choose “Apply sdcard:update.zip” and let things run their course.

Ok, have you done it?  Great, go out and test your 3G reception, then report back here:

    I had the 3G issue when first using the phone. Lasted a few days and went away by itself. Odd. I know. It’s been fine since. Other issues I’m having now is the keyboard, also touchscreen sometimes unresponsive, i can press send like 14 times and it won’t send my text. Then finally will on the 15th tap. Its very annoying. Not sure what to do. Maybe get a replacement. But should I wait til all issues are fixed?

    Anyone else getting the homescreen-dots wrongly arranged?
    Whenever I hit the home button while running an application the dots are in the wrong place when I get there.

    I think this happened once or twice before I updated, but now it happens every time.
