Android Google Maps App Update Includes Pinch-to-Zoom for DROID

Google just updated their Google Maps application for Android 2.0+ to version 3.4.0, which includes pinch-to-zoom be default.  Yes, this is the same Google Maps version that was pushed to Nexus One users just a few days ago with the OTA and manual update.  The updated Map app has been pushed to the ether so that DROID users and possibly anyone running a hacked custom ROM with Android 2.0+ can now enjoy the same pinch-to-zoom goodness.  No word yet on when/if the gallery and Browser will see the same update pushed out.

Check your map version and check for updates.
