This is a screen shot of the latest Nexus One: The Story YouTube video of how the Nexus One came to be. This is from Episode 2, Display & 3D Framework, near the end of the video clip. I realize this is just a rendering for the video, but I found the all white Nexus One to be rather interesting. Come on HTC/Google, let’s see some colors next time around. White, Black (all), Reds, Greens, Yellows, Blues….to see the video,

Oh my god, are you kidding me? You actually think they’re releasing a white Nexus One??
They wanted to give it a blueprint/pencil on paper look, and the white Nexus One image is just a cheap computer trick to accomplish that. I’m nearly positive an all white Nexus One does not exist and never will.

Not sure I like the glass to be white. One of the nice things about AMOLED (though there are many downsides) is that it’s blacks are richer, making the screen blend in better with the bezel (which unfortunately is still necessary). Making the glass white while the screen is black or in color would ruin the effect of the AMOLED.
All-white on all the plastics would be nice, as would black. But I think all black or all white would make it a little too much of a cheap shot at the iPhone. As much as I wanted it to be black, I appreciate the two-tone nexus one.
