Sprint Hero and Moment Android 2.1 Update

Sprint has made an announcement via Twitter stating the updates for the HTC Hero and Samsung Moment to Android 2.1 will be coming in early 2nd quarter of 2010, which probably means April 2010.  Since their tweet is limited to 140 characters, how convenient, they didn’t get into much detail other than stating they are working through options with HTC and Samsung.  I’m not too sure what options there could be, especially for the Samsung Moment which should be a completely vanilla Android build.  Maybe they mean, the options of how to upgrade; OTA, in store at Sprint, via online updates etc.  Sprint, if that’s the case, just let loose the update for those of us who can install it manually and then work out how to get it to the rest of the users as you can.  At least, that’s my opinion.
