Everyone loves the feeling of unwrapping, opening and experiencing their brand new, maybe not even on the market yet gadget, for the first time. It brings a sense of completeness, like this new toy has filled some sort of void in your life. Well, the fine crew over at Slashgear have gotten to experience that very feeling with the HTC Legend and we are lucky enough they took photos and videos of the experience for all of us to share and bask in the joy of Unboxing.
Ok, so maybe not everyone gets that feeling with a new toy, er gadget, but I know I sure get a kick out of opening and playing with something for the first time. The HTC Legend is one of the newer Androids coming to the market, and all sources are pointing to an April release in the UK and around Europe. Unfortunately for folks in the States, we have to wait a little while longer. However, to keep your appetite wet, here is the unboxing video and some first impressions. I have to say, I’ve been running the Android 2.1 Sense UI leak on my Hero for 24 hours now and I am diggin’ it. It’s fast, stable and has a few extra tweaks the Android 1.5 Sense UI didn’t, like the pinch-to-zoom home screen effect. The Legend appears to be HTC’s direct replacement for the Hero series phones, so it is possible and has been rumored that it’d make it’s way to Sprint as the Hero 2.
