The HTC Legend has just passed through the FCC with AT&T 3G specific frequencies, so that it will play nice with AT&T’s network and utilize all the speed capabilities it offers without limitations. This is good news for AT&T customers in the US, and some Rodgers, Bell and Telus customers up north in Canada. The Legend has a very attractive package in it’s uni body aluminum case. It hums along at a nice 600Mhz and comes with a 3.2″ 320×480 HVGA AMOLED screen. Around back is a 5MP auto focus camera with flash and of course geo-tagging. Inside are some fairly standard specifications with 512 MBROM, 384MB RAM and Android 2.1 with HTC Sense built on top. Also included is an FM radio and of course, Wifi and Bluetooth. The Legend is a mid-level Android phone, with some very nice style, but with it comes some limitation. The battery slides into the phone’s uni body structure which means if you are looking to purchase an extended life battery, it will be very difficult to work and/or impossible. But, for many that’s not a big deal, as you’d still be able to replace the battery, keep 1-2 extra on hand, if you really require it. Let’s get this on the shelf soon AT&T.
