Were you one of the adventure seekers who installed the unofficial “.3″ Android 2.2 update to your EVO 4G? If so, Sprint and HTC are here to bail you out with an OTA update that will pull all your unofficial updates into the official update world bringing you from Android 2.2 version 3.26.651.3 to version 3.26.651.6. The .3 version of the software apparently has a few little quirks. Be sure and hit up your Phone’s update features and get the latest and greatest Android 2.2.

This is an OTA package that will upgrade your phone from the unofficial version of the Android 2.2 release (.3 version) to the final production version (.6 version) will be available this evening.
The upgrade package is very small and will take only a couple minutes to download and install.
How to update your phone:
• You may initiate the download on your phone by going to Settings > System Updates > HTC software update or
