Well, it was posted in the announcement for the newest Droid member of the Verizon Android series of phones, the Droid 2, that a special edition phone, called the R2-D2 would be available in limited numbers. The R2D2 site is live and has a few little teasers. I certainly signed up for more information and got an email from Verizon about “the DROID you’re looking for.” Sweet.
