You all knew it was coming. When Sprint and HTC released the Android 2.2 update for the EVO 4G, it successfully removed root access to all those users looking to get a little more out of their ‘Droid. Well fret no more users, once again the good people of XDA Developers have found a way around that newest lock down. It’s quite a process at this point, it usually starts that way, but it is accomplished and if you can’t wait, you too can have root access with Android 2.2 today. Or, you can wait a few days and I’m sure a much simpler process will emerge making it less of an adventure.
