LG Optimus Black Announced with NOVA

LG is going full force with some Android super-phones this year at CES.  The first announced is the Optimus Black.  It comes with a 4-inch NOVA display said to have a whopping 700 nits of brightness while still being more energy efficient than equivalent screens.  It’s got two cameras, with the front being 2MP and the back…something bigger we presume.  No other specs are really available yet, the main lure seems to be the NOVA screen.  Also, no word on which networks in the US will support this phone, but it’s said to release world-wide in the first half of 2011, which could be any time from now until six months from now.

Here is another view with the back.  Looks better than the first view.
