The Android-powered nook e-reader was updated to version 1.3 today, and I got a chance to go hands-on with it. With this update, Barnes and Noble has shown they’re committed to updating the nook, adding new features and making improvements. This is good, because version 1.3 of the nook shows some serious promise. Click through to see the new features.

Droid Gets #1 Gadget From Time
Time magazine has released it’s Top 10 lists. The Motorola Droid has been honored with the #1 Gadget spot. And coming in number 2? The Android powered Nook. That’s right readers, the top two gadgets from 2009, according to Time Magazine, are both Android powered.
