CyanogenMod with Eclair
Well, that didn’t take long. CyanogenMod has already been updated with some Android 2.0, Eclair, bits in it. Steve Kondik, the author behind CyanogenMod has been hard at work. He had Android 2.0 working on his G1 last night, well mostly. It’s still missing some audio and video codecs and so it wasn’t a useful Continue Reading…

At least some parts of Android 2.0, Eclair, have been released on the Android Open Source Project. Dell’s Android Powered MID, at least the first, is here.
Dell Streak – Sounds like a late night after happy hour event on the Dell campus in Round Rock, TX. Actually, it’s a 5″ MID powered by Android of course. It’s got 2.0, Eclair, in there powering an 800×480 capacitive touch, with multitouch love along with WiFi, 3G and Bluetooth connections. It includes a 5MP Continue Reading…
Android 2.0 Walkthrough
The BGR has a great walk-through with tons of screen shots of Android 2.0. Looks like they got a hold of a Motorola Droid to review and have posted all the nice screen shots and details. It appears Google is taking some of the best of the customizations and improving it and making it native Continue Reading…
