Acer Liquid Passes FCC with Both AT&T 3G Frequencies
The Acer Liquid, the Snapdragon powered Android lovin’ cell phone, has passed through the FCC now with both AT&T 3G frequencies of 850Mhz and 1900Mhz. This doesn’t mean it’s necessarily coming to AT&T, but that’s a very good indication it might be heading their way. The Acer Liquid A1 looks to be a very nice [...]

Some people feel this is a mistake, but honestly, I cannot lean one way or another. Maybe 768 for the snapdragon is plenty of power for Android. Maybe not. Maybe it’s worth the lower [...]

Verizon and Android 2.0
Verizon may have yet another Android 2.0 before the end of the year. This time it supposedly comes with a 1Ghz snapdragon and it’ll be called the HTC Passion…though I’m thinking if the reports that Droid is a series of phones and not just one phone, then it’ll be something more like Droid Passion? It’s [...]

Acer’s netbook showed up on Amazon yesterday and today they have a press release about their first Android powered smart phone, the Acer Liquid. It’s a snapdragaon powered Donut sporting (Android 1.6) smart phone with a nice Wide VGA screen, presumably 800×480. I guess this would fall into the definition of “Large” screen for an [...]
